An official document obtained by the Deutsche Presse-Agentur in New York on Thursday revealed that the UN has accused Russia of murdering 136 children in 2022 while waging an aggressive war against Ukraine.

The deaths, according to UN Secretary-General António Guterres, “appalled” him.

80 kids were slain by Ukrainian soldiers, according to the report.

The Russian army was listed by the UN as one of the entities that seriously abuse children during armed conflict.

477 kids were murdered in Ukraine last year, according to the UN report, with 136 deaths attributable to Russian forces and allies and 80 deaths to Ukrainian forces.

Neither of the two fighting groups can be definitively held responsible for the remaining victims.

According to the report, the majority of the children were killed by air strikes.

Russian armies conduct such aggressive attacks on Ukrainian cities and villages.

The UN emphasized that there were a substantial number of unreported cases. Due to the tight requirements for validating such cases.

Guterres stated, “I am particularly shocked by the high number of attacks on schools, hospitals, and protected personnel, and by the high number of children killed and maimed, attributed to Russian forces and affiliated armed groups”.

He also voiced alarm over the activities of the Ukrainian military.
Last year, the UN reported a total of 92 incidences of children being used as human shields in Ukraine.

All but one of these incidents, according to the study, were committed by Russians.

The Russian army and its allies carried out 480 attacks on schools and hospitals, Ukrainian armed forces carried out 212, and the other attacks could not be ascribed.
