Job Description
This is a full-time, on-site role as a Vault Manager at Berkley Payments Solutions located in Lekki. As a Vault Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the security, maintenance, and operations of the company’s vault. Your tasks will include managing the storage and movement of valuable assets, implementing security measures, conducting regular audits, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Manage the release of production materials dually with the operation manager
- Ensure an efficient and effective inventory control is put in place
- Maintain record of all cards and chips that enter or leave the vault and inspect for damaged goods
- Provide assistance to bank representative for card counting
- Prepare and manage the stock report
- Report any discrepancy or abuse on stock to the operation manager
- Ensure the cleanliness and proper arrangement of the vault
- Ensure all documentation are prepared and maintained according to established procedures
- Shred destroyed cards with supervision
- Perform other duties that might be required of the role
Qualifications
- Proven experience working in a similar role, preferably in a financial or banking environment
- Strong knowledge of vault operations and security procedures
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling sensitive materials
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in computer software and systems relevant to vault management
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- High level of physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices
