Russian military launched a drone strike on Ukraine’s capital, Kyiv.
According to CNN, witnesses reported at least five explosions on Sunday morning, but the scope of the strike has yet to be determined.
As loud explosions were reported in Ukraine’s capital, Russia launched a nocturnal aircraft attack.
The attack, which occurred early Sunday morning, was alleged to have lasted two hours.
Drone debris was reported falling in numerous important city districts.
A number of cars were also damaged in the attack, according to Ukrainian media.
However, the extent of the attack is unknown, and no immediate injuries have been recorded.
According to a military spokesman, the drones arrived “in groups from different directions.”
According to Kyiv’s mayor, one person was hurt in the Podil area, and a fire broke out near one of the city’s parks.
“Drones came onto the capital in groups and from different directions,” stated Serhiy Popko, chief of Kyiv’s municipal military administration, via the Telegram messaging app.
