The role requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and customize WordPress themes and plugins, ensuring high-quality, efficient, and scalable code.
- Work closely with design and content teams to understand project requirements and translate them into functional websites.
- Implement responsive web design principles to optimize site performance across various devices and screen sizes.
- Monitor and enhance website security measures to protect against potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues to maintain site functionality and resolve technical challenges promptly.
- Conduct thorough testing to ensure the proper functioning of features, plugins, and integrations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to provide technical expertise and recommendations for website improvements and enhancements.

Qualification
- Proven experience as a WordPress Developer with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Experience working with WordPress themes, plugins, and custom post types.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices, web accessibility standards, and performance optimization techniques.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks based on project timelines and business needs.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Certifications in WordPress development, PHP, or relevant technologies.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and familiarity with APIs.
