Ehi Idibia, the first daughter of Nigerian music icon 2Baba (Innocent Idibia) and his former partner Pero Osaiyemi Adeniyi, has recently celebrated her high school graduation.
Pero, accompanied by her partner, shared photos from the ceremony, expressing immense pride in her daughter’s achievement. Notably absent at the event was 2Baba himself.
In an Instagram post, Pero gushed over her daughter, praising her as a star and expressing gratitude for making her proud. She extended her appreciation to God, expressing confidence that the good work begun in Ehi will be completed. Alongside the heartfelt message, Pero listed Ehi’s achievements during her time in high school, including multiple victories in track and volleyball.
Just a month earlier, Pero had celebrated Ehi’s admission to the University of Connecticut, expressing her confidence in Ehi’s future success. She offered prayers for her daughter’s journey, expressing her unwavering support and belief in Ehi’s abilities.
Before her high school graduation and university admission, Ehi marked her 18th birthday, prompting heartfelt messages from both her parents. Pero expressed her surprise at Ehi’s transition into legal adulthood while affirming her pride in Ehi’s intelligence and strength. Similarly, 2Baba, in a show of fatherly love, celebrated his daughter’s growth, hailing her as an African Queen.
