Music executive and former husband of Tiwa Savage, Tee Billz (Tunji Balogun), has issued a heartfelt apology to Nigerians for his earlier support of Zinoleesky, acknowledging the insensitivity of his previous post. Taking to his Instagram page, Tee Billz expressed remorse, clarifying that he didn’t intend to dismiss anyone’s feelings or opinions.
In his apology, Tee Billz emphasized his desire to be supportive rather than judgmental, citing the impact of mental health on Mohbad’s recent struggles and pointing out that Zinoleesky is currently facing similar challenges.
I’m sincerely sorry for the insensitivity of my earlier post! I don’t mean to undermine anyone’s feelings or opinion……I just rather be of help to this young man than judge him based on association alongside being a product of his environment!!! MENTAL HEALTH played a major role in MOHBAD’s last days whether you agree with me or not! ZINO is definitely feeling the impact too mentally now!!! My heart also goes out to SOLID STAR…..”
He also extended his love and support to Solid Star, who has been reported to be battling mental illness. Tee Billz urged understanding and forgiveness, expressing his intention to step back and focus on his own affairs.
This apology follows Tee Billz’s earlier plea for mercy for Zinoleesky and his stand against the cancel culture, particularly in the case of Naira Marley. Tee Billz emphasized the importance of education and growth, acknowledging that everyone is a work in progress.
