Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has said that his government is unwaveringly devoted to the state’s development and citizens’ well-being.

Prince Abiodun made the statement on Saturday to commemorate the state’s 48th anniversary.

Ogun was established in 1976 by the administration of the late General Murtala Mohammed.

The governor stated that, despite several problems, the Gateway State has become one of Nigeria’s most successful states thanks to the efforts of succeeding governments.

Prince Abiodun lauded his predecessors’ accomplishments, claiming that they established the groundwork for the state that exists today.

In addition, the governor commended the state’s citizens for living in harmony with one another over the previous 48 years without experiencing any social unrest, while urging them to keep this unity for the sake of the state’s advancement.
