The National Commission for Almajiri and Out-of-School Children’s Education, or NCAOOSCE, has reiterated its dedication to making sure that every child has the chance to realise their full potential regardless of their circumstances or background.
In a statement released in honour of 2024 Children’s Day, which has as its subject “For Every Child, Every Right,” Dr. Muhammad Idris, Executive Secretary of the National Commission for Almajiri and Out-of-School Children’s Education, revealed this.
According to Dr. Idris, the celebration’s theme aligns with the commission’s goal of making sure all Almajiri and out-of-school youth have access to high-quality education and an opportunity to succeed.
He stated that every kid has a right to healthcare, education, safety, and a supportive environment in which to flourish.
According to him:
“I reaffirm our commitment to addressing these issues and ensuring that every child, regardless of their background or circumstances, has the opportunity to reach their full potential.”

He noted that the government agency has been given the mandate and is equipped to provide quality education for Almajiri and out-of-school children as well as integrate Western education into the curricula of Almajiri schools, while also urging stakeholders to join the agency in its mission to ensure that every child has access to a quality education.
“Every child deserves the right to education, healthcare, protection, and a safe and nurturing environment to grow and develop in line with the renewed hope agenda of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu administration,” he stated.
