Nollywood actress Wumi Toriola is joyfully celebrating her son, Zion, as he turns 5 today, October 13th.
In a heartfelt Instagram post, she shared a touching story about a recent conversation with her son, who amusingly wondered if Queen Lateefah, her latest movie, was his sister since she frequently visits him.
Reflecting on this milestone, Wumi expressed how her son’s maturity often makes her feel like he is older than his years. She expressed her gratitude to God for granting her the strength to be a present mother and for all the lovely birthday wishes Zion has received.
Storytime: One of the days I go for cinema runs for Queen Lateefah, the birthday boy had concerns and asked if Queen Lateefah was his sister. I asked him why, and he said, ‘You are always going to see her.’ It was then it dawned on me that you, baby, are 5 after all. His maturity sometimes makes me think he is older. I am grateful to God for the strength to always be a present mother. Thank you all for your wishes; Zion loves you all, and he says thank you, mummies, daddies, uncles, and aunties.”
Wumi announced the day’s celebrations, which include brunch and a special outing to see Queen Lateefah, whom Zion playfully refers to as his “supposed sister.” She will be live at Ikeja City Mall today from 2 PM, inviting everyone to join in the festivities.
Additionally, Wumi highlighted the luxurious party packs provided by @giftlagos, thanking CEO @joke_agoro for generously offering them for Zion’s special day. She also mentioned the delicious cakes from @stickysweetbakehouse and @fastestcakes, confirming that she paid for them.
Yes, still Zion’s 5th Birthday!”
