Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan (PDP, Kogi Central) has been appointed head of the Senate Committee on Local Content and deputy chairman of the Committee on Steel by Senate President Godswill Akpabio on Tuesday.
Akpabio also named Senator Jimoh Ibrahim (APC, Ondo South) as head of the Inter-Parliamentary Affairs Committee, as well as 13 other senators as chairmen and vice chairs of several committees.
The appointments are as follows:

Committee on Tourism―Shuaibu Isa Lau (chairman) and Ireti Kingigbe (vice-chairman)
