Nollywood actress Ashabi, mother of two of singer Portable’s children, has poured her heart out to him in a heartfelt message.
Taking to Instagram, Ashabi described Portable as her best man, the one who makes her heart beat, and someone she cherishes deeply despite their ups and downs.
In her emotional post, Ashabi called Portable her love, pain, headache, happiness, and everything in between. She emphasized her unwavering love for him, no matter the circumstances, stating that she loves him even more than she can express.
Ashabi praised Portable for his bravery, hard work, and care, even though he’s not perfect. She ended her post by offering prayers for his continued wisdom and success, writing:
Happy Sunday to my best man… No matter how much I say I love you, I always love you more than that. You are brave, you are hardworking, you’re lovable, you’re caring, you’re not perfect, but you’re everything I have prayed for.”
The relationship between Ashabi and Portable has seen its share of highs and lows. In June, the singer publicly slammed Ashabi, accusing her of trying to step away from their relationship despite carrying his child. However, just days later, Ashabi celebrated their 2nd anniversary, expressing gratitude for their imperfect but enduring love.
Despite their public spats, the couple has repeatedly reconciled. Portable has at times referred to Ashabi as his wife and queen, but their relationship has often been tumultuous. Earlier in the year, they had a fallout after Ashabi granted an interview about their relationship, which angered Portable. He had labeled her a side chick, though they later seemed to resolve their issues.
