Agboola Ajayi, the former deputy governor of Ondo State, has emerged as the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) nominee for the November governorship election.
He received 264 votes in the party primary, defeating his closest challenger, Kolade Akinjo, a former member of the House of Representatives who received 157 votes.
