There has been the release of CCTV footage online capturing the shooting of South African rapper, AKA. He had been killed alongside his close friend, Tebello ‘Tibz’ Motsoane, outside a restaurant in Durban on Friday night. This was revealed in the last-minute footage of the dead rapper.
The pair were reported to have been on their way to a nightclub for a performance as part of the rapper’s birthday celebrations when they were shot.
The footage however revealed the shooting from a close marking as opposed to claims that it was a drive-by shooting. The deceased could be seen hugging his friend when a guy in white who had appeared on the left, holding a pistol gets close. He quickly takes a shot before making his escape across the street.
We do hope more investigation reveals the culprit behind AKA’s shooting and that they are brought to book.
