Super Eagles’ forward, Samuel Chukwueze, has quashed rumors of an imminent departure from AC Milan, expressing his determination to stay and fight for his place at the Serie A powerhouse. The 24-year-old, who moved from Villarreal to Milan for €20 million last season, has faced scrutiny for his underwhelming performance, accumulating just two goals and one assist in 19 appearances across all competitions.
Despite speculations linking Chukwueze to a potential loan move, the Nigerian international insists on proving his worth at AC Milan. “I’m not leaving because I need to prove myself. They signed me for quite good money. Me leaving AC Milan means that I’m just shying away from my responsibilities,” Chukwueze asserted, emphasizing his commitment to the club.
