David Moyes is expected to stay on as West Ham manager after positive talks with owner David Sullivan on Friday. The Scottish manager led West Ham to the Europa Conference League trophy with a victory over Florentina.

A 90th-minute goal from Jarrod Bowen was enough to deliver West Ham’s first trophy in 43 years as the game ended 2-1.

David Moyes was linked with the vacant Celtic job, but with a year left to run on his contract is likely to stay at the London Stadium.

West Ham captain Declan Rice however has been confirmed to be leaving the club.

Asked whether lifting the trophy in Prague was Rice’s last action as a West Ham player, Sullivan told talkSPORT-

“I think it has to be. We promised him he could go. He set his heart on going and in due course, he has to get on and we have to get a replacement.”

David Moyes will look to get a replacement for Declan Rice and aim to have a good outing with West Ham next season.
