Veteran Nollywood actor Dele Odule says a 200-level student served him breakfast, shedding light on his recent cryptic posts about heartbreak.
The seasoned actor opened up during an interview, revealing how he was left hurt by someone much younger who made him feel special one day and unwanted the next.
Earlier, the actor had shared a series of emotional posts on Instagram, hinting at a heartbreak. In one of his posts, he reflected on how “the wrong one will find you in peace and leave you in pieces, while the right one will find you in pieces and lead you to peace.”
Clarifying those messages in an interview with Kamo State, Dele Odule confessed that his heartbreak story was real. He said, “There is a little bit of a problem. I got served breakfast by a 200-level student.” Although he didn’t mention the lady’s identity or her university, his revelation sparked mixed reactions online.
Kamo State, who shared the clip, jokingly added that the veteran had not eaten all day, writing:
“Breakfast is for everybody. @ibrahimchatta_lordthespis said daddy has not eaten today.”
Social media users flooded the comment section with reactions. While some found the story humorous, others questioned why the actor was involved with a much younger woman.
One user, @shadesof_udee, wrote: “So na 200-level student be your soulmate? Nawa for you, daddy.”
Another, @thriftbysweez, commented: “Breakfast knows no age. So sorry, Daddy!”
Despite the teasing, a few fans expressed sympathy, noting that heartbreak can affect anyone regardless of age or status.
