The Federation Account Allocation Committee allocated N1.152 trillion to the three levels of government in February 2024, out of a total of N2,326.14 trillion.
This was announced in a statement issued on Thursday, by its Director of Press and Public Relations, Mohammed Manga, during a February 2024 meeting chaired by the Minister of Finance and Co-ordinating Minister of the Economy, Wale Edun.
The FAAC is in charge of assessing and adopting the distribution of funding to states and the federal government.
Every month, the committee distributes income to Nigeria’s 36 states and 774 local governments.
This financing is supposed to drive growth and help governments at all levels achieve their duties.
