According to reports, FC Barcelona may decide to sell three important players to raise money to re-sign Lionel Messi from Paris Saint-Germain this summer.
In order to raise money to accommodate their legend, Messi, FC Barcelona is reportedly willing to get players like Franck Kessie, Raphinha, and Andreas Christensen off the books. Messi moved to PSG from his childhood club Barcelona in August 2021.
Since then, rumours have circulated about a potential return to Camp Nou, and now that his contract with PSG expires in June, people have once again started questioning his future.
But getting Messi back won’t be easy, given Barcelona’s current financial limitations. First, according to the source, the Blaugrana will need to reduce their wage bill by offloading players like Kessie, Raphinha, and Christensen.
