The Federal Government, through the Federal Ministry of Works, would have blocked all of the Third Mainland Bridge’s ramps to traffic on Monday, by 7 a.m.
This was announced in a statement on Friday by Olukorede Keisha, the Federal Controller of Works for Lagos State.
According to Keisha, significant Bridge repairs would be carried out by the Federal Government.
“In view of the above, the motoring public are hereby notified that all four ramps connecting Adekunle to TMB will be closed at the same going forward.
“Consequently, motorists are hereby advised to use alternative routes while cooperating with the traffic management officials deployed to manage traffic and ensure hitch-free movement,” the statement read.
