Nigeria Flying Eagles

Nigeria’s flying eagles suffer a semi-final defeat to Gambia’s Young Scorpions at the Cairo International Stadium on Monday. Adama Bojang opened the scoring for the Gambians in the 7th minute of the game.

The young scorpions set the date for the Senegambia derby in AFCON U20 finals following their 1-0 victory(courtesy of Adama Bojang) over Nigeria. The Gambia ended the game with 10 men while Nigeria missed a penalty in the 85 minutes.

The Flying Eagles have already secured a ticket to the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Indonesia in May, having made it to the last four.

The Gambia defeated Tunisia I-0, Zambia (2-0) and Benin Republic 1-0 in Group C before demolishing South Sudan 5-0 in the quarterfinal. They and Senegal are the only teams without defeat so far in the competition.

I never expected anything from a team led by Ladan Bosso so I’m not in any way disappointed by this old men. The youngest is about 30. Football has gone beyond all this cheating we have many young boys real under 20 that can win the world cup for us but with this kind of lazy coach nothing good can come out our team. A team that can’t score goals how far can they go? Please Nigeria should withdraw from the World Cup if Ladan Bosso is the Head Coach because it’s going to be a disaster. We have better Coaches ffom the North if you’re trying to give the North a chance to also lead our team. Why Bosso? What has he achieved in is coaching career? We just give him the job of national team coach because he knows the people at the helm of affairs at NFF . Minister Dare should please disban this team and get Coach Abdullahi or any of ex international to handle a new team. Ladan Bosso should go back to school and learn modern football it’s not about size but brain work
