Arsenal striker, Gabriel Jesus, has not featured for the club since picking up a knock at the world cup in Qatar.
He has however handed Arsenal a major boost on Wednesday as he joined in full training with the squad at London Colney ahead of the first leg of their Europa League last-16 clash at Sporting.
Jesus is expected to be on the plane to Lisbon with the travelling squad, which is due to leave London on Wednesday afternoon. It’s not yet clear whether he will be included in the actual matchday squad by Mikel Arteta.
It was the squad’s final chance to go through their final preparations before boarding a plane to Portugal, as they return to Europa League action on Thursday night.
Mikel Arteta put his players through their paces ahead of our Round of 16 tie, which will see Arsenal head to the Estadio Jose Avalade aiming to claim a fifth-straight victory and hand the club an advantage going into the home second leg a week later.
