On Instagram, Kanayo O Kanayo shared a poignant photo of the departed actor, accompanied by a touching caption that reminisced their cherished moments together.
Reflecting on their time spent on set, Kanayo fondly recalled Amaechi Muonagor’s remarkable acrobatic feats, despite his age, and expressed admiration for his dedication to preserving Igbo culture. Kanayo bid his friend farewell, urging him to rest well, as he trusted in God’s wisdom for calling him at this time.
The news of Amaechi Muonagor’s demise was initially announced by Morris Money on the X app, revealing that despite efforts to save him, the actor passed away, even after being flown to India for treatment.
Amaechi Muonagor’s battle with health challenges, including paralysis from stroke, was widely reported last year. A heartbreaking video surfaced online, showing the actor pleading for financial assistance from well-wishers to undergo a kidney transplant in India.
