Kano State Governor Abba Yusuf has publicly stated plans to reorganize his cabinet in order to bring in new talent capable of moving the state ahead.
The Governor stated that the move is in accordance with his decision to remove cabinet members deemed below the level of performance established by his government.
Confirming receipt of the committee’s report on cabinet member performance on Friday at the government house, the Governor stated that the public would soon witness his next move.
Governor Yusuf updated public memory on the upcoming cabinet upheaval, stating that his administration intends to accomplish the needed objectives and win the people’s trust in them.
He indicated that none of the current commissioners pushed for the post, emphasizing that prior to their nomination, he examined experience, credibility, and held discussions.
”What I expected from the commissioners is obedience to my humble self, to the NNPP and to the Kwankeasiyya Movement, in addition to dedication to duty and to come up with good initiatives for the development of the state.”
On poverty alleviation, the governor stated that the state’s residents benefited from free food distribution in both urban and rural regions to alleviate the pain caused by the loss of petroleum subsidies.
Governor Yusuf pledged that the generosity will continue to help thousands of less privileged persons fulfill their daily needs.
The governor also stated that the KASCO firm, which distributes fertilizer to teeming farmers, is modernizing with the goal of supplying adequate commodities for farmers to improve food output.
