May Edochie, estranged wife of Nollywood actor Yul Edochie, took to Instagram today, April 10th, 2025, to celebrate her daughter Danielle’s birthday in a heartwarming and stylish way.
Sharing stunning photos of the celebrant, May expressed her pride in Danielle’s growth into a confident, graceful, and sophisticated young woman. She humorously called on runway makers to prepare for competition, as her daughter looked radiant in an elegant outfit by Becca Needles and Stitches.
In her heartfelt message, May referred to Danielle as her “mini-me” and “first fruit,” expressing gratitude for the joy her daughter brings to her life.
Someone, please tag all the runway makers. @d3forareason is about to take over, shining so bright in this elegant @beccaneedlesnstitches dress, exuding sophistication, grace, and confidence.
My precious darling daughter @d3forareason, you have grown into a strong, beautiful, and kind young woman. This gives me so much joy.
You may be all grown up now, but you’ll always be my little girl, my ada bekee, my one and only girl child, my first fruit.
I’m super proud of everything you’ve accomplished and even more excited for everything that lies ahead. Keep dreaming big, loving fiercely, and living fully. I want you to know that the world is lucky to have you, just like I am.
May God’s protection, blessings, and goodness be upon you now and always. May no evil eyes ever see you in Jesus’ name. Love you always.”
As May celebrated her daughter, fans are curious if Yul Edochie will acknowledge Danielle’s birthday. Over the past few years, Yul’s relationship with his children, particularly Danielle, has strained following his marriage to his colleague.
Danielle notably removed her father’s name from her social media profiles, changing from “Danielle Yul Edochie” to “Danielle Diana Dubem.” Yul, in turn, unfollowed her on Instagram and stopped engaging with her posts.
However, in previous years, Yul had shown affection publicly, writing sweet messages and referring to her as the leader of the “Yul Edochie squad.” Whether he continues this tradition this year remains to be seen.
