Nigerian singer and Marlian Records CEO, Afeez Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley, has made headlines once again, this time for celebrating the birthday of his signee, Zinoleesky, in a grand style.
Taking to his Instagram page, Naira Marley shared a video showcasing Zinoleesky’s new house, congratulating him on his latest possession and praising the luxurious interior.
In the Instagram post, Naira Marley hailed Zinoleesky as his “loyalist” and wished him more blessings, expressing his excitement over the stunning interior of the new house. He wrote,
Happy Gday @zinoleesky and congrats on ur new house the interior’s crazyyyyyy won’t lie.. more blessing my loyalist Baba Zendayah.. Marlians law.”
Zinoleesky, in turn, took to the comment section to boast about their wealth, indirectly addressing the cancel culture and backlash they’ve faced, stating, “Rich gang, still rich.”
However, despite the celebrations, Zinoleesky’s career has faced setbacks following the death of Mohbad and the controversies surrounding it. US show promoters canceled his tours, distancing themselves from him due to his silence over the maltreatment of Mohbad within the Marlian Records camp. A video showing Naira Marley’s aide assaulting Mohbad had sparked outrage, leading to a wave of criticism against Naira Marley and his record label.
Despite the challenges, Naira Marley has remained staunch in his support for Zinoleesky, declaring him the richest person he knows and sending a message to their detractors.
