Nigerian singer, Innocent Idibia, popularly addressed as Tuface in a video posted by intsablog9ja has taken time to encourage Nigerians to get actively involved in the forthcoming election process. According to him, Nigerians do not need anyone to tell them who to vote for given the unfolding events within the Nigerian polity.
He bemoans the retrogressive politics in the country and how something needs to be done about it. According to him, Nigeria needs total restructuring which will not happen overnight. Hence, Nigerians need to be up and doing and maintain the same energy even after the forthcoming election.
He states:
You be agbalagba, old person ,you don grow finish, you still need person to kon tell you who to vote for, dem go kon think say you don make one brilliant statement. Nobody dey do us again o, na we dey do ourselves man, from religion to our education system , you understand. Na the physics textbook wey dem dey use for 1960 something dem still dey use till today.
Everything dey upgrade we still dey do theory, theory theory till we graduate university na theory, omo we need to change am from house value system, every election everybody dey forget say no be only president election dey about from top to bottom…. we no need to tell you..join party, get involved, nothing go happen overnight. All these energy need to continue even after the election, dem need to tell you again?..
