Job Description

The ideal candidate will have an ability to implement strategies to manage plant, processes, people and budget to deliver business objectives/targets in a cost-effective way without compromising on quality, health & safety in an environmentally friendly manner with a highly motivated workforce. The ideal candidates should have strong experience in Food and Beverage Manufacturing sector with expertise in Production management, HSE Compliance, Quality control & Engineering Processes.


  • Identify and Implement knowledge of key technologies or operational changes that optimize production and lead to improved productivity, cost reductions as well as enhance competitive advantage.
  • Create relevant Standard Operating Procedures for factory in terms of material usage rate, Quality/Safety requirements, manning levels, etc.
  • Stock management and control.
  • Having a keen eye on budgets and budgetary changes, also ensure effective budgetary control so as to deliver on corporate objectives.
  • Initiate and implement policies that will promote better operations of the factory for high efficiency, effectiveness, and profitability.
  • Ensure resources control and optimization of operations.
  • Implement Good Manufacturing Practices and HACCP plan for the operations.
  • Ensure the availability of all Safety & Hygiene facilities, their proper application and usage within the factory.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the operations team. Responsibilities include fostering an environment that inspires creativity, growth, discipline and respect for the individual, also, performance evaluations, on-the-job training for subordinates and learning for self, budgetary responsibilities, lean and effective manufacturing structure as well as ensuring that goals are met in a timely and efficient manner.


  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in FMCG sector
  • B Sc or HND in Pure/Applied Science or Engineering
  • Excellent Business Process Design knowledge
  • Good Financial Management and Corporate Finance knowledge.
  • Good at information management. ยท Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Innovative and creative with good externally orientation.
  • Sound business knowledge and self-confidence.
  • Possess integrity and excellent customer management.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and Quality management systems (HACCP, ISO)
  • Proficiency in SAP ERP system
