In a significant turn of events regarding the investigation into the untimely death of Ilorioluwa Aloba, widely known as Mohbad, Owodunni Ibrahim, alias Primeboy, has voluntarily turned himself in to the police.
This development follows the Lagos State Police Command’s declaration of Primeboy as wanted due to his failure to respond to their earlier invitation. The ongoing investigation aims to shed light on the circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s tragic demise.
Benjamin Hundeyin, the Lagos Police Public Relations Officer, confirmed Primeboy’s surrender in a statement released yesterday. The statement described Primeboy’s physical features and provided details about his last known address, urging anyone with information to contact the police.
Commissioner of Police for Lagos State, CP Idowu Owohunwa, had previously announced a reward of N1,000,000 for information leading to Primeboy’s location, emphasizing the seriousness of the investigation.
Primeboy, not only a close friend but also a childhood companion of Mohbad, had a significant role in confirming the artist’s passing. On September 12th, he shared a heart-wrenching video displaying Mohbad’s lifeless form in a car, marking the initial confirmation of the artist’s demise.
