Former professional tennis player Serena Williams, now known as X, has shared a vulnerable message with her millions of fans on Twitter, revealing that she is currently not okay.

In a post on her Twitter page, the mother of two acknowledged that it’s acceptable not to be okay every single day and expressed solidarity with those facing similar struggles.

I am not OK today. And that’s ok to not be ok. No one is ok every single day. If you are not ok today I’m with you. There’s always tomorrow. Love you,” Serena Williams tweeted.

Her openness about her feelings prompted an outpouring of support from fans, with many expressing encouragement and empathy in the comments. Messages ranged from expressions of understanding and shared experiences to words of comfort and prayers for her well-being.

Serena Williams, who retired from professional tennis last year, had earlier announced the arrival of her second child, a baby girl named Adira River Ohanian, with her husband, Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian. The power couple tied the knot in 2017 and welcomed their first child, Olympia, in the same year.
