Joe Biden, the President of the United States of America, has praised Nigerian President Bola Tinubu for his “strong leadership.”
Biden notably cited Tinubu’s handling of the issue caused by the coup in Niger Republic.
The US president also lauded the present administration’s efforts to “reform Nigeria’s economy.”
Biden then complimented Tinubu for his “strong leadership” as head of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) in safeguarding democracy and the rule of law in Niger and the region.
Biden said:
“Nigeria’s invitation to the G20 Summit is a recognition of Nigeria’s important global role as Africa’s largest democracy and economy amid military takeover.”
