Isreal DMW, the logistics manager for renowned singer Davido, has addressed the recent controversy surrounding upcoming artist Trevboi, clarifying that he was never officially signed to Davido’s record label, DMW.
Amidst reports of Trevboi’s alleged involvement in the tragic incident at a Lagos nightclub, Isreal took to his Instagram story to set the record straight. He revealed that Trevboi was merely someone whom Davido decided to assist voluntarily by collaborating on a song together. Isreal emphasized that Davido generously covered all expenses, including the production of Trevboi’s music video.
Isreal further stated that Davido had severed ties with Trevboi long before the unfortunate events took place. However, in a surprising turn of events, Trevboi apparently showed ingratitude by disrespecting Davido, tarnishing their previous working relationship.
Contrary to popular belief, Trevboi was never signed as an artist under Davido’s label. He was simply someone whom Davido graciously decided to support by featuring in his song. Davido even went the extra mile to fund his music video. However, their professional association ended when Trevboi audaciously insulted Davido, displaying a complete lack of appreciation for his kindness,” .
