Should we talk about journeying through life, today? Enjoying life, a journey. What an intriguing topic I have chosen today when I barely know jack about life itself. I’m barely 24 years old and I feel like I’ve experienced everything life has to offer. The good and the bad. So why does it feel like I haven’t done or felt anything, sometimes?
You know, it’s very easy to get stuck with the difficulties life throws at us. It’s not hard to focus on just that and forget about enjoying the journey of life. So, when I remember that I’m being very serious, I ask how unfulfilled I’d feel if I were to leave the world of the living.
Other individuals on the other hand enjoy life so much that they forget to be serious with it. Because it’s so fickle and can just be gone in any moment.
Ah 😌. You can’t enjoy life too much and you can’t be too serious about it either. So, how then do we enjoy life?
Finding happiness in this life isn’t such an easy task. Aside the generally happy people who don’t need much to be content, there are people who feel the need to achieve something to find happiness. In other words, they attach happiness to something.
For reasons known to us, it could be other people; success, finding love, being rich, being famous. Personally, I find the idea of attaching an achievement to happiness a little constricting. But different strokes for different folks, right?
Since we are all different people, obviously, our approaches to enjoying life will always be different. Even when it changes, or it’s similar, it can never be the same as another person’s.
So, one tiny question, guys. How do you enjoy this journey of life? Or how do you plan on enjoying it?
