Former Big Brother Naija housemate Maria Chike Benjamin has addressed the rumors about her alleged romantic relationships with married men and clergyman Apostle Johnson Suleiman.
It’s no secret that in 2021, celebrity barman, Cubana ChiefPriest, called out the reality TV star for allegedly snatching his sister’s husband, Kelvin. Moreover, in 2022, Maria Chike was among other female Nollywood stars and celebrities accused of having an affair with Apostle Suleiman.
However, in a recent interview, the BBNaija star dismissed the rumors, stating that being accused of dating married men is a common trend when someone comes into the limelight. She further added that she owes nobody any explanation and that it is not her place to discredit or credit such reports.
Maria emphasized that she is not single and is in a healthy relationship with someone she has been seeing for many years. She also shared that her partner is a great person who encourages and supports everything she does and gives her peace. She expressed gratitude to God for having him in her life.
