Nollywood actress Osas Ighodaro is overflowing with joy as she marks her daughter Azariah’s 8th birthday today, June 21st, 2024.
Taking to Instagram, the proud mother shared a video of Azariah and poured out her feelings, describing her daughter as not just kind and intelligent but also thoughtful, determined, and sweet.
Happy 8th Birthday to my sweetest princess baby, Azariah Ajibade!!! God is so Good!” Osas wrote. “Watching you grow up to become the amazing young girl you are fills me with so much joy. I am incredibly proud of you and grateful to be your mommy.”
She continued her message with heartfelt prayers for Azariah, asking for God’s continued love, protection, mercy, and grace over her life. Osas expressed her wishes for Azariah to be a blessing to others and for her light to shine brightly in her generation.
You are blessed, my sweet girl! I love you so much, princess. Thank you for always making me smile. You are truly remarkable, and I thank God every day for you,” Osas concluded, showering Azariah with affection and blessings on her special day.
Osas Ighodaro shares Azariah with her ex-husband, Gbenro Ajibade, and despite their separation, they have come together on special occasions like Azariah’s birthdays to celebrate as a family. Last year, they reunited for the first time in six years to celebrate their daughter Tiwatope, sharing touching moments and memories together.
Azariah’s birthday celebration has always been a significant event for both parents. In April last year, Gbenro Ajibade surprised Azariah at her school for her 8th birthday, flying all the way from Atlanta to Lagos to be with his daughter. He shared a heartwarming video capturing the emotional reunion, where Azariah’s excitement and love for her father were palpable.
