Socialite Paris Hilton has opened up about her regrets over the sex tape she made with her ex-boyfriend, Rick Salomon. It was leaked in the early 2000s. However, in her upcoming book, “Paris: The Memoir” the 42-year-old star spoke candidly about how her ex-partner, whom she nicknamed “Scum,” pressured her into making the video.
She disclosed that while she does not recall much about the night they made the tape, she felt uneasy and uncomfortable about the whole experience. According to Hilton, her ex-boyfriend had often mentioned making sex tapes with other women. This further added to her anxiety.
Paris revealed that she drank alcohol and took Quaaludes before the recording. However, she was horrified when a 37-second clip of the video started circulating online years later. In the excerpt, which was published by The Times, the reality TV star confessed that she begged “Scum” not to release the full version of the tape. Still, he insisted he had every right to sell something that belonged to him.
Paris also admitted that she felt as though her “self-worth” was destroyed after the video’s release. Her family was also devastated by the news. She said that if she had opted to sell the tape, she would have had control over it. Unfortunately, the decision was taken out of her hands.
In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar magazine, Paris disclosed that she did not have strong sexual urges before she met her current husband, Carter Reum. She stated that she was terrified of anything sexual, which led her to believe that she might be asexual.
She called herself the “kissing bandit” because she only enjoyed making out. This was one reason many of her relationships failed.
Paris is now happily married to Carter Reum, with whom she shares a child.
