You know how mothers always insist we eat our veggies right from childhood and we would protest all the time? Well, they were right. I mean, why should we eat colorful things that taste vague when we can have very sweet stuff? Even adults find it difficult to stick to veggies. Someone is probably already thinking, “When I no be vegetarian”.

They do sound a little alike but they are so different, it should be a problem if you compare these two situations. Basically, vegetarianism is the act of abstaining from eating animal flesh. This includes; meat, fish, chicken and even eggs. Just like a lot of things, vegetarianism is in grades. Some vegetarians abstain from milk also, thereby suggesting that a percentage of vegetarians abstain from eating anything related to animals.

Eating veggies on the other hand does not require you to abstain from meat or animal stuff. It requires us to eat more fruits and greens than junks. Greens, meaning cabbages, green beans, sweet potato, lettuces and many more.

Although, they may not be as fascinating as the usual stuff you prefer, you’d be shocked how much good veggies can do to your body and your life as a whole.

Due to various skincare routines that require us to stay dehydrated and get quality sleep so as to have healthy skins and healthy lifestyles, veggies like tomatoes, cucumbers and celery help increase your hydration and help achieve your skin goals.

  • Reduces the risk of getting a heart disease

With multiple researches, you can find out that veggies like avocadoes and tomatoes give you potassium and fiber, which help reduce heart diseases.
